A catch-all functionality that is enabled for a specific e-mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. To put it differently, if you delete an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any mistyped address under the exact same domain, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial if you run some business, for instance. Since you may start receiving junk messages, you can use the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filtering software in order to receive only authentic messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all e-mailbox without any difficulty in case you’ve got a shared hosting account with our company. The Email Manager tool in our in-house created Hepsia hosting Control Panel is full-featured, yet really intuitive, and it will enable you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with no more than a few mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have created will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and next to each one of them you will notice a small-size "Catch-all" icon. Clicking on it once will enable this option, clicking it once again will disable it. As you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already got another mailbox with this option activated or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email address with no more than one click in case you’ve got a Linux semi-dedicated hosting with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the email addresses that you create with any domain hosted in the semi-dedicated hosting account will be shown in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a mini "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the very same way you’ll be able to remove the feature, if you do not need it anymore. Our system will warn you if you are attempting to activate a 2nd catch-all email address for a certain domain or if there’s activated email forwarding, but it will never alter or deactivate any feature automatically or without your approval.
