PHP 4, PHP 5, PHP 7 and PHP 8 Support in Shared Hosting
With our Linux shared hosting, you will be able to select the PHP version that will be enabled for your account, as we support multiple versions. With as little as one mouse click, you will be able to switch between PHP 4, 5, 7 and each time a new version is published in the future, we will include it in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel without removing the earlier versions. Thus, you will be able to host all the websites that you’ve set up throughout the years. In stark contrast to a lot of other web hosting suppliers, we will not compel you to update such sites, as a script may be outdated, but this does not mean that it is vulnerable since you may have implemented modifications to its code to patch security gaps. For your convenience, you will even be able to specify a different version of PHP for each individual website hosted in your shared web hosting account.
PHP 4, PHP 5, PHP 7 and PHP 8 Support in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Even in case your websites were created with an older PHP version, you’ll be able to host them in a semi-dedicated server account from us, as we support different versions running simultaneously on our semi-dedicated servers and each one of them can be enabled for your account with no more than one click of the mouse from our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel. Aside from the most recent PHP 8, we also offer 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4 and the older PHP 4, which has already been abandoned by the vast majority of hosting companies, but we strongly trust that you shouldn’t be compelled to modify a site that took several years to set up, since older script language syntax doesn’t necessarily suggest security breaches. On the contrary, a well-maintained site using PHP 4 can be more reliable than an improperly maintained one using PHP 5. For the sake of your convenience, we’ll also give you the possibility to select a different version of PHP for each single site within your account.
