If you get a shared hosting package from our company and if you take advantage of our mail services, you will be able to enable spam filters for any of the email accounts that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With only a couple of clicks of the mouse, you can choose between five separate security levels. If you start receiving spam, you can start with the lowest level and then slowly increase the level till you stop receiving spam. We use one of the best and most popular spam filters available called SpamAssassin. It examines the header field and the body of every email that you get and calculates a spam score, based on which it either deletes a given email message or permits it to enter your inbox. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel will also permit you to create custom email filters and either erase unsolicited messages or redirect them to a 3rd-party address like spam@domain.com where you can read them once more after that.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you use a semi-dedicated server package from our company and if you set up one or more mailboxes with any of the domains hosted under the account, you will be able to activate the powerful, 5-level SpamAssassin email filter that we provide and keep all unwanted emails out of your inbox. This option is accessible through the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section and it can be enabled or disabled for any email account whenever you wish. You can also change the safety level with several mouse clicks in case unsolicited bulk email messages continue to enter your inbox or the spam filter begins deleting genuine emails. As you can select whether the spam should be erased instantly or delivered to another email address, you can set up spam@domain.com, for instance, and check all filtered messages there, so as to make sure that you won’t omit an email message that you need. The emails that the filter permits to proceed will still be delivered to your mailbox.
